This first photo is by Jan Scholz, an artist whose work I’ve admired since the good old days when Flickr.com was the major platform for photographers. I used to spend hours exploring portfolios and discovering new favorites. Although those days have passed, and photographers are still searching for a similar platform and experience, Jan’s work continues to be a significant inspiration for me.
Even though our styles differ, I deeply admire the stillness and elegance that characterize his photography—qualities I aspire to incorporate into my own work.
